Typically, pencil skirts have always read a little constricted or too “proper” for my style
preferences. But the denim factor, and tasteful distressing give this skirt a lot of versatility in
my wardrobe – and thats what excited me when I spotted it at Zara.

Not fit for anything in the realm of a corporate setting, this is a great casual weekend/date
night/no “dress code”, but you want to look stylish and “put together” option.

I love how effortless this skirt is to style – approach it like you would a pair of high waisted
pants. It pairs well with a cropped sweater, a normal length sweater or top french tucked (this
means that only the front or a portion of the front of your top is tucked it). It’s also a great
option for wearing with a cropped top – it features the smallest portion of your waist. So if
you’re more comfortable wearing cropped tops with high waisted options like I am, this is
your winner =).
